KITCHEN PREP COOK/GREENS COOK  

The team at FIELD & SOCIAL is passionate, fun… and real.  We are looking for part-time Front of House staff to join us. If you have plenty of enthusiasm, a friendly, outgoing personality and can manage to stay smiling, even when the dressing hits the fan, we would love to hear from you.  

 FIELD & SOCIAL opened our first salad shop in February 2016 in downtown Vancouver, our second shop opened March 2019, and we have a third location dropping soon! We are excited to offer healthy and nutritious salads that are delicious and simple. Our team is never standing still, we are always listening to our guests, our team, and our community. We continually strive to remain at the forefront of fast-casual, healthy eating and provide the best salads in Vancouver. Eat well, feel good!  


MAIN DUTIES:

- As a kitchen prep cook you will report to the Head Chef - in the absence of Head Chef you will report to Team lead or Store manager

- Follow production list done daily 

- Responsible for putting deliveries away and organizing the walk-in fridge

- Responsible for preparing  dressings, soups, sub recipes and fresh cuts following the standardized recipes given by the head Chef.

- Ensure food items are stored, labeled and dated properly

- Help maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and ensure the cleaning lists are completed

- Help in training new dishwashers and oversee cleaning

- Help put away garbage, recycling and food waste

- Perform assigned duties


- Knowledge of health and safety rules in the kitchen

- A team player with good communication skills

- Good physical condition and endurance
